Who runs this

The Hub is the member website for Nick's AI Learning Community. It is run by Nick Blumlein, who decides how your information is used. Questions about your information: email nick@nicksaicommunity.com.

What we keep about you

  • Your name, your Skool member id, username and profile picture, copied from the Skool group.
  • Your email address, so we can send you sign-in links.
  • The questions you ask Ask Nick, and the answers it gives.
  • If you build a roadmap: your answers (the AI tools you use, the job you want help with, your type of business and time per week) and the plan it makes.
  • The lessons you tick off, and the hours you say you saved each week.
  • The ideas you suggest and the ideas you vote for.
  • Your wins and the times you helped another member, when Nick adds them.

We also keep a scrambled version of your internet (IP) address for up to two days, to stop people hammering the sign-in and sign-up screens. It can't be turned back into your address. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in, and on a free guide page, one that remembers you asked for that guide. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

  • To let you sign in, and to keep the site safe.
  • To answer your questions with the right lessons, and to show your progress.
  • To see which jobs members want help with, so the next lessons are the useful ones.
  • To show the leaderboard and the Ideas Board to other members.

We use it because you are a member and this is the service you joined for, and because it is in our legitimate interest to run the community well. We never sell your information or use it for advertising.

What other members can see

Other members can see your name next to your verified wins and helps on the leaderboard, and the ideas on the Ideas Board (not who suggested them or who voted). They can never see your email, your questions or your progress.

Who helps us run it

These companies process your information for us, only to run the Hub:

  • Supabase: stores the database and handles sign-in, in London.
  • Vercel: hosts the website, run from London.
  • Anthropic: its AI, Claude, reads your question to write the answer, and your roadmap answers to build your plan.
  • Resend: sends the sign-in emails, the live session emails and the free guide emails, from Ireland.
  • Zapier: tells the Hub your name and email when you join as a paying member.
  • Skool: where the community lives, and where your name and picture come from.

Your information is stored in the UK. Some of these companies are based in the USA and may handle it there: Anthropic when it answers a question, Zapier when you join, and Skool, which runs the community.

Free live sessions

Anyone can sign up for a free live session on our sign-up page, without being a member. If you do, we keep:

  • Your first name and email address.
  • If you tell us: your kind of business and what eats most of your week.
  • Which boxes you ticked, and when we sent you each email.

We use it to send you the confirmation, the reminders and the joining link you asked for, and to shape the session around what people need. If you also ticked the box for future emails, we use your first name and email to tell you about future sessions and Nick's AI Learning Community, until you say stop. Only Nick sees your details. Other people never do, and signing up does not give you a The Hub account.

We delete your sign-up 90 days after the session. If you asked for future emails, we keep only your first name and email until you opt out. Every email has a link to stop future emails or cancel your place. To have your details deleted completely, email nick@nicksaicommunity.com.

Free guides

Our free guides (like the inbox kit and the editing set-up) show a preview on their pages. The full guide opens when you ask for it with your first name, email and WhatsApp number, and we email it to you too. A small cookie remembers which guides you asked for, so they stay open on that device for a year. If you ask for one, we keep:

  • Your first name, email address and WhatsApp number.
  • Which guide you asked for, and your answer to "How are you looking to use AI?" if you gave one.
  • Where you came from, if the link said (for example YouTube or Instagram).
  • Whether you ticked the box for messages about AI tips and the community, when we sent you the guide, and which follow-up emails we sent.

We use it to send you the guide, and to see what people want help with. Your details are also kept in our customer list (GoHighLevel), so we can see who asked for what. If you ticked the box, we use your first name, email and WhatsApp number to send you three follow-up emails over the week after you ask, about the guide and Nick's AI Learning Community, and to message you about AI tips and future sessions by email or WhatsApp, until you say stop. Only Nick sees your details, and asking for a guide does not give you a The Hub account.

We delete your request 90 days after you make it. If you asked for future emails, we keep your first name, email, the WhatsApp number, guide, your answer and where you came from until you opt out, with the link in every email. To have your details deleted completely, email nick@nicksaicommunity.com.

How long we keep it

  • Questions you ask Ask Nick: 12 months, then deleted.
  • Your roadmap answers and plans: 12 months, then deleted.
  • The email you type when you first ask to sign in: 90 days after Nick has dealt with it.
  • If you leave the community, Nick removes your access. 90 days after that, your name, email, picture and Skool details are removed. Your lesson ticks, hours saved, wins and ideas stay, with no name attached, and your questions are deleted on the usual timetable above.
  • Free live session sign-ups: 90 days after the session (see above).
  • Free guide requests: 90 days after you ask (see above).
  • Everything else: while you are a member.
